The trip in Ottawa is one of the best in my life. Everyone of the finalists was really friendly and we became friends really fast. The officers and staff of Canadian Heritage were really kind and patient. All of us were guided through the heart of downtown Ottawa, the Parliament Buildings, the National Gallery of Canada, and many museums. I especially loved the events on Canada Day. Everyone was cheering and wearing red. I was honoured to present flowers to the Governor General, and greet the Prime Minister and his family. I am glad to have celebrated Canada Day in Ottawa this year, and I am proud to call myself Canadian!

This has been an awesome experience over all. Ottawa is a wonderful city, I'm glad I got the chance to come. It was definitely a once-in-a-life-time experience. I'm an artist not a writer so I am at a loss for words to fully describe how wonderful the whole trip was; although the meals were great!

The experience in itself is something I will never forget, the attitude, atmosphere and welcoming feeling given to me and my family from their city and the committee is amazing. I feel truly honoured to have been a part of a real Canada Day celebration. I loved meeting all the other people; it is awesome to know that I now have contacts all across the country.

It was a most uplifting and memorable excursion. A kaleidoscope of cultures, religions, histories and individuals. Through the eyes of a clock I have gone back in time to view our barest beginnings to excel to the glorious nation we have matured to be.

This trip to Ottawa has truly been an experience of a lifetime. From all the recognitions to gifts to new friends I've made. I am so happy that I tried out for the 2007 Poster Challenge, and I'm sure my Mom appreciates it too! I'd like to thank Canadian Heritage and the sponsors for this wonderful opportunity; it truly was a lot of fun to meet all the talented artists around Canada and to view their artwork. I encourage anyone and everyone to try out!

What a great experience being a Poster Challenge finalist was: meeting the other finalists from across Canada and seeing their artwork. Discovering Canadian history through the Canadian Museum of Civilization, visiting the Governor General's residence and Parliament Hill, and discovering what a beautiful capital Ottawa is! What wonderful memories. Thank you!

Although I've visited Ottawa a few times before, I realize that each visit came with new experiences. My visit to Ottawa this year was exceptional. Not only did I have the chance to form strong bonds with finalists from other provinces and territories but I learned many things about the history of Canada that I did not know before. Seeing the posters of the other finalists showed that Canada is truly unique. Because each and everyone of us saw our country in a different way. This trip is most definitely unforgettable.

It was a great experience, especially since we've never been to Ottawa before. All the tours were very interesting and meeting various new people is really exciting. As a friend of mine once put: "I feel cultured". Awesome time! Coming to Ottawa for Canada Day makes you very PROUD to be Canadian and makes you realize that we are privileged to live in such a great country. Thank you very much for the opportunity.

Thanks to everyone. They made us feel like we are very important, like a queen. The last four days were really special and we are never going to forget that special experience. Thank you everyone and thanks Canada.

I really enjoyed my visit to Ottawa. The celebration was really big and Canadian stars were there. The tours were really fun. The dinner and receptions were really good. I hope others that win the trip will like it as much as I did.
