Museums: Meet the People
Many of us find museums to be somewhat intimidating. A good way of demystifying them is to get to know the people who work there, or even to become a volunteer. Our museums rely on teams of employees whose duties vary according to the type of institutions in which they work:
- museum field specialists such as curators, conservators, archivists and museology technicians
- people who create and coordinate, such as exhibition project managers and educational program officers
- people who focus on client service, such as guide/interpreters and greeters
Find out more about these fascinating people whose committed work makes it possible for us to access and enjoy our heritage across the country.
