Application Deadlines
The Canadian Cultural Property Export Review Board meets four times a year to review applications for certification. Deadlines for the receipt of new applications are usually eight to nine weeks before a meeting.

Who Can Apply?
Designated organizations apply for certification on behalf of donors or sellers. These organizations meet the necessary standards to preserve the cultural property and make it publicly accessible. Cultural Property Income Tax Certificates (Form T871) can be issued to both corporations and individuals.
