2011-12 Program Activity Architecture
The Program Activity Architecture contains 3 Strategic Outcomes, which include 8 Program Activities and 42 Sub-Activities. The Strategic Outcomes are: 1) Canadian artistic expressions and cultural content are created and accessible at home and abroad; 2) Canadians share, express and appreciate their Canadian identity; and 3) Canadians participate and excel in sport. Each Program Activity is described in more details in Section 2 of this report.
Expenditure Profile
The Graph shows the Department of Canadian Heritage’s spending trend for the years 2009-10 to 2011-12, comparing Main Estimates, Planned Spending, Total Authorities, Actual Spending and Canada’s Economic Action Plan actual spending. The Main Estimates were $1,255M in 2009-10, $1,146M in 2010-11, and $1,143M in 2011-12. Planned Spending was $1,304M in 2009-10, $1,291M in 2010-11 and $1,187M in 2011-12. Total Authorities were $1,516M in 2009-10, $1,341M in 2010-11, and $1,343M in 2011-12. Actual Spending including Canada's Economic Action Plan was $1,475M in 2009-10, $1,314M in 2010-11, and $1,309 in 2011-12. Actual Spending excluding Canada's Economic Action Plan was $1,324M in 2009-10, $1,156M in 2010-11 and $1,309M in 2011-12.
