How to Apply

The 2013 Campaign has begun.

Students and Graduates

Young Canada Works (YCW) does not hire students or graduates directly. It is the employer's responsibility to hire students or recent graduates for their YCW funded position(s). Employers approved for YCW funding will be able to search through the List of Candidates (students and interns) and contact students to hold an interview. However, we strongly encourage you (students/interns) to apply directly to any job that interests you.

For more information regarding YCW programs, please refer to the links below. Once you have reviewed the General Eligibility Criteria and selected a program(s) that work(s) best for you according to your age, skills and interests, go to the YCW Login Page to register. Then, search the YCW Job Listing Page and submit your interest or apply directly to a job that interests you.

Employers

Employers who wish to apply for YCW funding must complete an application and submit it to the appropriate Delivery Organization for evaluation. Please visit the YCW Login Page to create an account and submit a job application.

Prior to applying to the program, we strongly recommend that employers carefully read the Employer Guide to prepare for the application process. It is also recommended to visit the links below to ensure your organization is eligible to apply to the program.

The deadline for employer applications for a Summer Work Experience program is February 1, 2013. Deadlines for employer applications for a Career Focus (internship) program and the Languages at Work program differ. Please contact the appropriate delivery organization directly for the correct deadline.
