Winterlude’s Great Winter Ball!

Friday, January 31, starting at 7 p.m.

Celebrate the wonders of our Canadian winter by taking part in Winterlude’s Great Winter Ball! Ignite the night by creating your very own illuminated costume, or dress up in your funkiest winter attire with a touch of light. This electrifying evening features the opening ceremony, musical performances, pyrotechnic effects, the 27th Crystal Garden International Ice-Carving Competition, and a DJ Dance Party like no other!

7 p.m.: Illuminated roaming performers.

7:10 p.m.: Memories of Ice, created by JUNO award-winning composer/percussionist Jesse Stewart

7:30 p.m.: Opening Ceremony - celebrating our Olympic and Paralympic athletes and Canadian milestones, such as the 150th anniversary of the Charlottetown and Quebec Conferences


  • MCs: Jean Labonté, Paralympic Gold Medallist, Sledge Hockey, and Katie Weatherston, Olympic Gold Medallist, Ice Hockey
