Animal Tracking on Snowshoes

  • Saturdays, February 8 and 15, at 10:30 a.m. in English and at 1:30 p.m. in French;
  • Sundays, February 9 and 16, at 10:30 a.m. in French and at 1:30 p.m. in English.

Take a guided snowshoe tour with a nature interpreter and discover a winter forest full of life! Winter is an excellent season to look for signs of animal life in the woods. Would you recognize the tracks of a snowshoe hare? A red squirrel? What made the hole in that tree? This two-hour activity includes a presentation at the Gatineau Park Visitor Centre, followed by a guided snowshoe tour along Trail 60. The number of participants is limited and reservations are highly recommended. Registration will be from mid-January to February 16, 2014.

Free, snowshoes provided.
