With the World Book and Copyright Day, UNESCO promotes reading, the publishing industry and the protection of intellectual property through copyright.

World Intellectual Property Day, April 26

April 26 is World Intellectual Property Day, an annual celebration promoting the relationship that exists between intellectual property and creativity.  The Canadian Intellectual Property Office is hosting and participating in a number of activities throughout the month of April to celebrate and promote innovation and economic growth.
