Ongoing communications/liaison with Canada Day committees/regional offices

One of the principal ongoing functions of the Program is to ensure an effective working relationship with the 12 Canada Day committees and the regional offices.

In maintaining this relationship, the program assumes numerous duties: providing updated material, offering clarification on procedural matters, compiling final reports, ordering of paraphernalia, updating official Canada Day documentation, ensuring receipt of all materials, facilitating approval of grants over $3,000, and ongoing consultation regarding all aspects of the Canada Day Program, including regional/provincial and territorial budgetary levels/breakdown.

A good portion of the overall success of the Canada Day Program can be attributed to the longstanding and effective working relationship that exists between national headquarters, the 12 committees and the regional offices.
