The Building Communities Through Arts and Heritage program delivers its funding through three separate components. The components are administered independently and have separate guidelines and application forms. Refer to the guidelines and application forms that correspond to the component to which you are applying.

Applications submitted for the September 30 deadline must be completed using up-to-date guidelines and application forms that are available on this page.

Local Festivals

Application Deadlines

• APRIL 30: festivals starting between September 1 (of the same year) and March 31 (of the following year).
  
  
• SEPTEMBER 30: festivals starting between April 1 and August 31 (of the following year).

Program Guide and Application Forms

New versions of the BCAH Guides and Application Forms are released periodically.  Please ensure that you are using the current version to apply for funding.

Community Anniversaries

Application Deadlines

• APRIL 30: events starting between January 1 and December 31 (of the following year).
  
  
• SEPTEMBER 30: events starting between April 1 and December 31 (of the following year).
  And exceptionally in 2009: events starting between January 1 and March 31 (of the following year)

Legacy Fund

Application Deadlines

• APRIL 30: capital projects that will be completed before March 31, 2012.
  
  
• SEPTEMBER 30: capital projects that will be completed before March 31, 2012.
