Apply for Funding
The Building Communities Through Arts and Heritage program delivers its funding through three separate components. The components are administered independently and have separate guidelines and application forms. Refer to the guidelines and application forms that correspond to the component to which you are applying.
Applications submitted for the September 30 deadline must be completed using up-to-date guidelines and application forms that are available on this page.
If you have any questions about the BCAH program components, please contact your regional office.
Application Deadlines
The next deadline for applications for all program components is April 30, 2010
The guidelines and application forms for each of the components are listed below:
Local Festivals
Application Deadlines
- APRIL 30: festivals starting between September 1 (of the same year) and March 31 (of the following year).
- SEPTEMBER 30: festivals starting between April 1 and August 31 (of the following year).

Community Anniversaries
Application Deadlines
- APRIL 30: events starting between January 1 and December 31 (of the following year).
- SEPTEMBER 30: events starting between April 1 and December 31 (of the following year).
And exceptionally in 2009: events starting between January 1 and March 31 (of the following year)
