Reminder

The first step toward the presentation of a funding application is the submission of a project synopsis. Please consult section 4.2.1 of the Applicant's guide.

If the project synopsis reviewed by the Program has been deemed eligible, applicants are required to submit their complete application at least four (4) months prior to the start date of the project. Missing documents or information could cause delays in the assessment process or even the rejection of your request. Please consult the Checklist (Appendix D) before sending in your application.

For projects that cannot respect the four (4) month delay, we recommend that you contact a program officer as soon as possible. You can reach us by phone at 1-888-357-3116 or by email at cmf-fcm@pch.gc.ca. Do not hesitate to contact the program to discuss your project prior to presenting a synopsis, to obtain additional information or for assistance with your funding application.

Please note

Applicants should not assume that projects will be approved. Any project started before final approval is granted by the Minister or the Minister's representatives is undertaken at the applicant's risk.

To be eligible to this component, an applicant must meet the definitions of an Eligible Association or Organization (See Part III – Applicant's Guide).
