The Support for Arts and Literary Magazines component will help nurture and develop magazines that foster awareness of the arts and literature in Canada, ensuring Canadian readers have high-quality choices in the domestic magazine market. The assistance will be provided through formula-calculated funding to magazines recognized for their excellence by the Canada Council for the Arts (CCA), based on Canadian editorial content and production costs. The objective of this component is to enhance the viability of Canadian magazines that focus on the arts and literature.
