Important Notice

In 2010-2011, the Publications Assistance Program (PAP) will be replaced by a new program, the Canada Periodical Fund (CPF). The CPF is set to be launched in April 2010, therefore, the PAP will not be accepting new applications after September 15, 2009.

Applicant’s Guide 2009
The Applicant’s Guide is divided in three parts:

• Part I gives you detailed information on the Program, its eligibility criteria and the Department of Canadian Heritage provisions.
• Par II outlines the application process and the supporting documents needed.
• Part III gives you information on what you need to know once your application has been approved.

• Newsletter
  Newsletters are ineligible for PAP financial support. To determine whether a publication is a newsletter or a magazine, complete the newsletter scale link scale.

• Change of Ownership Form
  If a change of ownership occurs, the new owner is responsible to notify the PAP by completing the Change of Ownership Form.
  If a change of ownership occurs, the new owner is responsible to contact the Publications Assistance Program at 1-800-641-9221.
  
  
• Statement of Income and Expenses Form
  This form is intended for publishers with a total annual paid circulation of less than 25,000 copies to "bona fide" subscribers, single-copy sales and newsstand sales in Canada.
